F21♥

as usual, we just had  to go in to forever21.

it was after the killer paper of ykt111 and after all those nights camping in rotibakarkopitiam and khaleel, having dinner there again was so out of the question.intan trus tanya, feeling2 QB tak? suddenly we were all bersemangat again even after having just a couple hours of sleep.

eat first, walk around later.

what is this, brunchner?
(oh look i rhyme)

all these while we've been trying on clothes and browsing in there, i've never once gotten myself anything. cheap-ass rings and accessories, sure. but clothes, never. i still hold on to my believe that its way too overpriced (we've all heard how dirt-cheap it is in America) and its not even worth the price people are paying for it. C'mon, a sheer plain teeshirt for RM35? Ridiculous. Its amazing how we consider F21 as a sort-of a slighty higher-end brand but in other countries nobody particularly cares about F21 anyways.

thats not to say that their clothes arent amazing, 'cause hell yeah they're pretty damn awesome. i love their lace dresses, brightly-coloured jeans and the soft cotton materials of the tees. those military-styled jackets and long long tops are a faveourite of mine too. ohhh just now, i saw this bright bright blue cardigan with bright yellow trimmings along the hem, paired together with a grape-purple tee inside. loves it max, loves how its so mismatched yet gorgeously so. wants!

anyways, stepping inside the shop, i mentioned to them boomboompows how i've never gotten anything from F21 before.

i then came out of the shop with three.

THREE.

how did that happen?!

what can i say, it was cheap. it was cheap-ass. in total i got myself 2 dresses and 1 teeshirt for RM50 only! crazy cheap max right! RIGHT!! unbelievable!

#1 is a white-based tube short-dress with splashes of purple turquoise and yellow. how very lets-chill-by-the-pool/beachside. ONLY RM30. i've never worn something like this before!

#2, found by my dahling missapriltan for me, a dark maroon thigh-lengh dress with matte bronze studs. very the lets-go-lepak-SOHO. ONLY RM15. arr emm fifteen. FIFTEEN. original price was probably close to RM100. gasp, much? *flicks nails wtf

#3, a sheer plain white v-neck tee, oh-so-layer-around-with-it. ONLY RM5. yes. single digit number, five. for a piece of clothing. of soft comfy cotton. i cant get over how cheap it is!!

again, for emphasis.

AWESOME DOWH.
GILA TAK AWESOME.
♥♥♥

this will teach me not to tempt fate by saying such things again wtf.

pre-ykt111 escapism into junism

hye hye! as usual, im here suring such supposedly stressful times! :D

nyaa its true, i have so many readings to do! its not sufficient to read the slides and lecture notes alone, but i should be reading the endless recommended readings as well! in fact i should have finished reading by now as the killer paper is on monday!

but i am not, and i didnt. thats just crazy talk.

it seems as if my life is so full of ARASHI now hahahaha i go to places with wifi just to download their videos and songs, to the point that when my food arrives i have no time to eat it and er loudao had to feed me wtf sankyuuuu hehe yes, i am that  desperate. aint complaining though, its been a while since i find myself being that  interested and passionate in something. it's no easy transition though, stepping into the world of jpop. of johnnys.

johnnys bleargh. cannot help cringing.

the wonderful world of cliche lyrics, cheesy dancemoves, relatively less-than-strong vocals, perfectly-controlled stereotype images, pretty made-up boys and cringe-worthy music videos. oh gawd.

from this.

to this?
sighness.
but arashi

though i can only claim to recognise 2 of their members, one being jun matsumoto and the other being their leader satoshi ohno, i still love their songs! their high-spirited crazily-optimistic tirelessly-energetic songs that make me want to jump around with my hands in the air! the dynamic beats, the voices of them five together, it makes me happy, it makes me smile to myself (like a moron, no less), it gives me strength.

and that, is exactly why i like them so much despite all the cheesiness.

but of course, the main reason is still matsumoto jun teehee ♥
confession: my current desktop background is a collage of so-cute-can-die pictures of jun
(embarassing, but still proud of it wtf)

come, i show you wtf

yg penting gmbr separa bogel ye hahahaha what have i turned into oh lawd.
with that said, doesnt mean im not anxiously awaiting VAMP's new single [DEVIL SIDE] coming out in May! with such lyrics as this

"embrace our instinct
i want to see your other face
kissing your lips
calling for your devil side"

cant wait to see the PV either! though i wish HYDE'd produce more songs soon with Laruku!

ah anyways, back to pretending to sleep study teehee.
(also known as rewatching jun's drama きみはペット teehee)

in any case, its still not the night before exam yet. which, in my dictionary, means its not time so study yet. i cant help it, thats just how my brain works you know. my only motivation is last minute panic, if any at all.
 *defensive

in my defense, i have the memory of Dory the fish.

but hey didnt ernest hemingway once said that happiness in intelligent people is the rarest thing he knows? well them im just trying to be happy teehee.

nevermind that i practically just said i want to be dumb wtf.

you know what, i think im going to take a nap.

かぞく

*brushing up my hiragana for next sem

we see each other everyday, we have our meals together, we go shopping at the same places and we skip go to class together. even after all that, we still manage to seek each other out for supper practically every night.

keropok lekor, air asam, apam balik or khaleel. this is our routine.

how is it suprising then, that we all are each others' family here in university?

when im lost (literally), i know who to call to ask which bus goes where. when im texting while crossing the road, i know who to depend on to er drag me across the road without me having to look up. when im not having my safety belt on, i know who will nag me until i reluctantly put it on. when i need some advise, or just to plain talk about things (doesnt happen often though haha), i know who to go to. i know who will be there and i know who to depend on. when im lacking in cash, i know who will force me to borrow/lend/whatever me to take their money first. when i really have no idea what to do about something in particular, i know there'll be someone to tell me not  what to do, but what my options are.

it really makes life so much more easier.

and why on earth do i sound so emo/melancholy wtf honestly this is spurred on by bloody weewee who said something that made me laughed my ass out but in the end, true to myself as well. the thing is, halfway watching theatre mak yong last night (klakar gile, siap ade adegan2 uda&dara lagi hahaha "aku kaya" hahahaha), weewee had to leave to balik melaka. and this morning he told me that he felt half-hearted to leave us and it felt strangely like leaving family. and just now while abuela and i were dying to go out but tarak kete, he said he drove around melaka and wished we were there. that was rather suprising haha coz i know i made his life so miserable that he calls me his miserablator  and more than once he mentioned how annoying i am. to the point that he said if there were 10 of me, that would be his personal hell wtf hahaha i take it as a compliment.

so anyway back to the point, yeah maybe i dont feel that exact way when im leaving but in here itself, in our everyday little routines, i feel like i have this second family around me. i feel so comfortable that i can just let loose and be as kiddish and i-couldnt-care-less-about-others and annoying as i want, maybe sometimes to the point that its really just plain irritating max to others hahaha sometimes before going to bed i think about my day and really i wish i could erase certain parts, cannot tahan my own behaviour sometimes. and then i'd promise myself to behave nicely and politely the next day only to have something come up and that promise would be be completely forgotten, FTL.

but still, everyone is still so nice to me and take care of me kaukau !! *terharu

mwah mwah sayangs you alls hahaha!!

luahan perasaan sngt nih, thank goodness nobody reads me!

i've really  got to behave wtf.

========================================================================

and that , was written quite a couple days ago.

i saved it as a draft and honestly was afraid of posting it up here. it is kind of personal and i have the other  blog for things like these. ok so here's the thing, i know  i might say some people dont know how to socialize and stuff, but i have a confession to make: i myself am terribly awkward with these kinda touchy-feely things hahaha really. i suck as expressing/displaying my real emotions. but then tonight, something happened!

not clear, dont really care.

i can has siblings!

hahaha it was started off as just a joke. i wasnt there myself (balik kl ari tuh teehee) but according to them, they were so sick of people asking how did such as random bunch of people that is us all meet and got close to each other that in the end, it was just easier to say that we're cousins! tadaa, problem solved wtf. some things are just easier evaded than explained. and then tonight everyone started adding each other as sibling (coz dont know how to add as cousins wtf) on facebook hehe!

which is why i know this  would be the perfect timing to post this up~♥

hari tangga sedunia kot

what a day of stairs, stairs and more stairs!

in less than 3 seconds i found myself being the exco of PERKOM.

and whoosh a whole month's passed, crossed the last one out a couple days ago!

wasnt kidding when i said i was busy, look at my march schedule!!

so many duedates, presentations and nonsense gahhh!!

tip: it saves money draving one every month rather than going out to buy a RM49.90 for a 12-months leather-covered one. serious. and its so fun filling it up with duedates, birthdays and events! makes things easier to manage too! :D

gahh my arms are mysteriously aching. yang penting tadi lepas show Uda & Dara, main Pepsi-Cola dan berguling2 smbil mencarut depan2 lecturer Arts School sendiri wtf. AH ITS RAINING, I IS GO TO SLEEP FIRST!!

Happening at the Padang Kota

it's nights like this that makes me feel so grateful for the people im around with, for them just being them  and i know how blessed i am to be able to get into this uni and somehow, even without mutual classes sometimes, found these bunch of crazy awesome people whom i can depend on for fun and sukaduka kehidupan chewah

really, people have asked me (and also intans) how on earth did we all became friends and we really dont know how to answer this! we all just found each other through mutual friends, through random activities and of course, interacting in facebook every late night helps. though its been a while since we spammed a comment till it reached 60+ comments teehee. ironic isnt it, especially when the few of us have rather negative first impressions of each other hahaha i was supposedly the very rich & kekwat , 2nd/3rd year student from KL wtf my IC might agree with the KL part but i refuse to call myself anything but a kuantanite/kuantanian/whatever.

damn introduction pun dah 2 paragraphs dah haha blogging mojo is so back! :D

yesterday night was the Happening at The Bungalow theatre show in Padang Kota, Georgetown! apparently besides from the bilboard at the junction shown in the last post,  there are also banners all around town omg we were at a roadblock last night and with the windows down, tans and i were chatting so loudly about the banners with the police flashing his flashlight around the car wtf ignore terus. yg penting safetybelt bila nmpk roadblock br pkai HAHA sbab abuela tarak ntuk membebel dan bapakku yg bernama eugene x perasan kot.

the weather was terrible last night.

planned to go out at 5PM (though the show starts at 8.30PM wtf) because we were taking the bus but came 5PM, it was raining kucings&anjings so terpaksalah tunggu smpai hujan reda. tans (hard to keep track with all the nicknames isnt it hahaha but its all the same people so figure it out ;p) even called and asked us not to go je la because there was a little storm in Padang Kota, with one of the lights breaking and all those Final Destination kinda stuff happening wtf choy. got kinda disappointed because i was all ready to go and the show will still go on rain or no rain so didnt want to miss it boo finally around 6PM the rain slowed down to a mere drizzle and talking to mukhlis who mentioned his family's coming down to see him too, it made up my mind to just go for it and see how things go.

hair. wet.

the journey wasnt pretty wtf i dont mind the rain, i dont mind that bus stops at every bus stop, i dont mind inersia so much, i dont mind standing in the bus but i sure as hell mind waiting my ass off at the bus stop for the right bus to come! gahhh i really have no patience in waiting for unknown things! (inersia wtf probably the only useful thing i got out of learning physics for 2 whole years) but i enjoyed the ride there, lost in my own little world with my earphones on and watching the world go by through rain-dropped and foggy windows. mmm. bus stops at the jetty and we had to wait for the free shuttle to padang kota to open its doors pulak cis mengeramkan! though it was slightly drizzling, and we both had unbrellas in our bags, dgn rileksnyer we jalan ke tgh2 Padang Kota, where the show would be held at.

a prettily-lighted building at the side of Padang Kota, with relections on the banjired field.

ah was so happy to finally reached! what an adventure hahaha was greeted by the FOH (front of house) people with their RINTIS tees cis but it was raining to only chairs were susuned at the sides boo the whole field was pretty much flooded, with a tent in the middle for the sound people? sawah padi sngt, what with their lecturer walking around there with a straw hat and rubber slippars HAHA! the atmosphere was buzzing with excitement, anxiety and random insanity! sumpah, nobody have as much fun attending/working at an event as much as the art students! thats why i love art school events so much hahaha padahal communications night pun tak attend kan kitorg nih hahahaah!

emy and her strawberry unbrella i've been eyeing on since last sem!!
pulau khemah.
llama with tan's 3-bungkus-nasi-kandar-filled kitschen handbag ;p
jantans missing their beloved MU's 7.45PM major game!

bermula jugak show tu walaupun audience tak ramai. luckily it wasnt raining already so they susuned the chairs right infront of the stage, where it wasnt flooded. though midway of the show it started drizzling again choy luckily most people brought their umbrella though it kinda obstructed the view a little boo. ah i blame my short-genes.
preview of another art school 3rd year production: Uda & Dara! aya will be dancing for this!
ambience picture wtf

wah ini orang nama eugene yah, dia yah, manyak gila main air kt sawah padang kota yah. but super helpful omg as more people came, chairs were needed and he straight tanggal kasut conversenya then memunggah kerusi. everytime ade je orang smpai, trus pi amik kerusi and tolong menolong crew Happening. FOH angkat nih hahahaha! walaupun kami bukan dari arts school, the sense of responsibilty is still there, dont know why. asking people to sit and offering them unbrellas when its raining and us standing there the whole time, weird kan hahaha but fun! :D

pemenang anugerah jantan SMK USM. SAJE NK MAIN AIR TUH.

yang penting bercamwhore dlu ye.

honestly it was rather hard to concentrate on the show haha it was so wordy! only the babak2 aksi i beri perhatian penuh hahaha and mukhlis was so punny, being all drunk and scarily fierce! ok lets give a little obligatory synopsis. *copies and pastes from flyer
screenshots.
the other 82345 pictures were pretty blur boo

"Happening in the Bungalow is a contemporary play based on a script by Penang's award winning playwright Lee Joo For. Performed and directed by USM's final year Acting and Directing students BLABLABLA basically its a tragic comedy/comedic tragedy/tragically punny wtp.  Set in the 50s, it revolves around 4 characters -  Birch, Rozni, Cheng and Boy. The play opens with Birch a Brit businessman who tries to deflower his secretary Rozni but luck was on her side when Cheng an idealist who does not believe in killing, but reformation, rescues her. The drama unfolds as Rozni follows Cheng to his bungalow and Boy, Birch's loyal servant, inadvertantly becomes the victim."

rabu rabu. chu chu.

ok i dont really know what to say anymore. kehabisan idea.

ok here's a picture, with all the crews and production team.

HAHA M.U KALAH SMLM.
maka menangis la jantan2 sekalian ini. hugly max.

pamily portrait.

oh i love the feeling after the show where everybody is like talking happily, walking around here and there and the atmosphere is just so meriah! and congratulating everyone who did a great job and commenting here and there on nonsense and being just crazily random hahaha mucho love!
YANG PENTING LEPAS TUH COFFEEISLAND YE!

mukhlis went with his family so he lent/borrowed/whatevered his car to us. as usual, teckwah was stuck being the driver hahaha was major hungwy by this time and luckily PulauKopi's kitchen was still open so we ordered!! 2 seconds later found out we all didnt bring enough money choy luckily weewee pi cari atm cucuk duit haha FOL btul. wah coffeeisland full with people, i dare say 90% lala people wtf.

seafood mac with swiss cheese!!

RM12.90, serving kecik je.

rasa cheese syiok max. but not tasty enuff boo still very much edible though haha! but the mushroom soup there is da best!! tons of chopped mushroom pieces and just oh so tasty mmm yums!

the nest thing we know, as we were getting into the car, it was already 2AM wtf however did time fly so fast?! nah we still had some energy (and petrol) to burn so just went around town, making random turns and discovering little old roads with no cars arounds = SCARY. singing random songs with the windows down. i like the fact that when one starts singing random old school/new school songs, we could almost always join along. what i mean is that we have the sort of a  common background where we're exposed to pretty much the same things. ended up in khaleel near usm for some roti tisu and fries teehee suprisingly no nightmare! it was a long complex dream but i dont think it qualifies much for a nightmare so yays it might just be a coincidence after all! saw vun and karim there, apparently they stayed till 7AM! o_O

and that my friend, is the end of the story of the night of 3rd of April of the year of 2010

"yesterday we had some rain,
but all in all I can't complain.
was it dusty on the train?
p.s. i love you."

Amelie.

there was that  night.
that  unmentionable, unforgetable night ;p

but thats not for public viewing teehee instead, i shall talk about this place we went to for breakfast, the morning after! this quaint little darling place that i discovered during the shooting of Armenian Street (another third year project by comm school). right there and then i swore i was going to try this place out before i graduate. and try this place out i did, even before this sem ended. ah yes i count my blessings much.

oh so charming~

some of the quaintly items lying around and about

the menu, albeit a little pricey, was just as i imagined it would be: a variety of yummy western-styled food that sounds so good, i feel like trying everything!! so here's what i ordered : oat porridge. i know it sounds absolutely disgusting to some people but it was hell delicious!! all warm, milky, oaty, almondy and just perfectly subtley sweet. oh heaven betul!

too bad we couldnt try the lunch menu boo too full + no kachingkaching T____T

it may not seem much but boy was it filling! so worth the RM6.90!! as downstairs was already filled with people, we had to go upstairs but the staircase is so scarily steep and narrow!! takut gila masa nk turun tau, i wondered how the owners got used to going up and down carried the food and stuff T____T upstairs, the tables and chairs were very old-school sekolah rendah kind of wooden desks and chairs! how nostalgic hahaha we felt so overgrown pengakap sitting on them!

that day's specials, the mushroom soup sounds so good!

they also have all sorts of orchids and tiny little plants planted in random jars and cans that just adds so much to the quirkyness of this place. how could anyone not fall in love with it!

the slow life?
describes perfectly the atmosphere just as we stepped in to Amelie Cafe.
Amelie Cafe, i'll be back, i promise. :D
