In the words of Sho-kun, " こんなの初めて!" ♥

Warning: PICTURE HEAVY.
Such is my first time in the City of Entertainment! Spent several hours editing these pictures, I ain't going to waste all that effort! (^_-)Seriously though, should be paid for all the hard work, making those pictures I took look remotely appealing isn't so easy as clicking a button! But since I'm not getting paid for all the advertising, might as well tell the truth and clarify that pictures may very much differ from the real thing. It was kind of..shabby and like, takde effort to do things properly like that. AND THE CUSTOMER SERVICE. Don't even get me started.

So with that said,
yes I went for a little daytrip to Genting Highlands last last Friday! (^∇^) It was this episode of Himitsu-chan where Sho-kun got forced on a roller coaster with Oh-chan and basically dieded there that made me want to go to a theme park for some thrill and fun fun fun! but uhm as expected, I uhm chickened out and didn't really went crazy with the rides. Ahem. Don't judge meh.

Cable ride up.
A little fail while looking for a parking space at the cable car building place area thing, went around it a couple times but still couldn't find the entrance and then somemore drive against a one-way bus lane like a boss wtf quite funny really. The panic and the confusion. Teehee.

Photobucket

Obligatory let's-take-a-picture-with-someone-who-is-driving picture!

Sampai-sampai the parking area and getting out from the car, whoooo the air outside is so much cooler than the air inside the car, even with the aircon on! (Warning: plethora of redundant interjections involving the awesome-as-hell weather starts now) Then it started drizzling a little, the kind of light rain where the surrounding world quiets down to a hush and the air feels so incredibly fresh. I FRIGGIN LOVE IT!

Photobucket

Getting on the cable car, all tinted blue.

Photobucket

Hello plant blocking Genting's mural/advertising/whatever on the back wall.

Photobucket

Photobombed.
Must take picture first before all the terror and thrill kills the makeup wtf.

Took us some time to look for the outdoor theme park where the ticketing booth should be,
and stopped by a bakery for some mushroom and cheese quiche with salad mmm so yummy!
Not that expensive either, about six bucks? So many more tempting yummies there
goodness gracious me I can noms bread and pastries and get fatter for a whole lifetime and never get bored okay! ( ゚▽゚)

Photobucket

The first ride I was talked into getting on.

What is it called again, Spinner? Something like that? Damn powder this picture captured the entire ride in its glory and got bonus clown by the sides somemore. Am so awesome I don't even. BUT SHIT THOUGHT I WAS GOING TO FLY OFF AND DIE. Think a superhero life of flying ain't going to cut it for me, too much anxiety on the poor heart. At first when it's spinning low it's still fun you know like wind in hair and all that, but when it gets higher it's like OMFG IMMA DROP MY HEART OUT SOMEWHERE AND DIE. Like that. And this is just the first ride wtf I was like closing my eyes and just bearing all the horrors within my lily-livered self wtf while YK seems to be having a jolly time, occasionally looking back to check if there's still life in my eyes.

Photobucket
gif ain't mine.

A tad na..fuck how do you spell it? Nauseous? Nauseous yes my friend Google just confirmed it!
Really lame, coming from someone who used to get all correct for english spelling tests in primary school. So yeah insides got all wobbly from the spinning, but I soldiered on. Soldiered on to the next, and possibly the lamest (albeit very pretty), ride in the theme park - the Carousel wtf negative thrill and excitement okay, good place to calm the nerves down and take some pictures though teehee!

Clear and sharp pictures for the Carousel moved as quickly as the Earth spins around the Sun.

Photobucket

Ribena break! (Walaupun baru dua rides!) (*^▽^) Really, all throughout the day it was just makanmakanmakannnn, making snack stops so frequently hahahaha the first was for breakfast quiche, and now it's for Ribena and Rocky RM4.50 punya Ribena WTF DAYLIGHT ROBBERY MUCH? Padahal actual price like RM3, and if kira cost price lagi murah okay like what RM0.30?  (Stingy much?) Come here everything after seeing the price terus no appetite already wtf

Oh yeah forgot to tell about our terrible customer service experience. At first, buying the tickets for the cable ride wasn't so bad, the person behind the caunter barely lifted up her head to look at us or even so much as say thank you, which is fine okay typical lah but then at the theme park ticket counter, the girl was so rude! We asked about the type of rides in the indoor park and she said curtly that it was in the pamphlet and continued staring at us impatiently with a condescending look, after pressing for more details she then opened the pamphlet up and smacked her palm insolently on it to show us the map of the indoor theme park without saying anything more. As expected, no thank you  either. And it was just barely noon, imagine how she would treat the other visitors when she's worked a couple hours more? Having to deal with this even before we started the day just made the visit seem a little less unpleasant, repulsive almost. Speaking of customer service, and plain old good manners, I was in Jusco Melaka the other day and as we walked in, even the security guard greeted us with a smile. So much difference okay.  Sigh. Getting over it, okaaaaay next ride!

ZE CYCLONE (I think!)

Photobucket

Peace and serenity amidst the rattling and screaming on the Cyclone(?).
Quite the opposite from the person behind the camera. That person's a wreck.
But still somewhat comforted by munching on smuggled-in Pringles and Rocky while waiting wtf

Hearing them screams and clatter of the metals, I was like
Photobucket
gif ain't mine.

But rode it anyway.
THE GOING DOWN PART. Like hanging on to dear sweet life,
while feeling my heart being ripped out from the back and left behind while my insides are throwing a rave party
like nobody's business. and it went round for three rounds?! BRB DYING TILL IT STOPS.

Photobucket

Enough, enough turmoil for my poor soul.
Let us now take the Spinning Ribena Cup Ride and camho please.  /cowardly custard

Photobucket

Bottom picture to make up for the severely lacking in grace punya pictures above HAHAHAHA but hey, there's me smiling with teeth and looking so silly at it!

Photobucket

Love how Arashi colourful this Arashirainbow-like building is
It's always at least half-covered in mist. So pretty and dreamlike. LOVE LOVE LOVE THE CRAZY COOL WEATHER, made me so happy and comfortable Gawd if only the temperature in Malaysia is exactly like this all throughout, that's just be so awesome. Then taking long walks wouldn't be such a hassle! Really, I love walking around and all, I just don't like to get all sweaty and uncomfortable (AND TANNED!) under the sun. Unlike YK there who loves warmth and the sun so much that she gets worn-out from the lack of sunshine hahahaha we're completely opposites! (^_-)

Photobucket

BUMPERRRR BOAT!

Photobucket

Undeniably the perfect ride/game/whatever for someone who is very comfortable being in control of motor vehicles! ME ME ME! Despite the long wait, we had a great time bumping around and more bumping around! Plus, it's a one-person thing so after overcoming the slight fear of not knowing how to control it, there was no stopping anybody hahaha they gave us ten minutes to ride around, lifejacket provided of course. The water's a little..filthy though. Like I wouldn't want to drop in there, ever. Not even if someone pays me to. *shivers ( ・_・)

Photobucket

Wet shoes?
All the colliding and banging did splashed the dirty green water onto us though. Eeeeee.
Ok time for another break, did we stopped by for some herbal eggs (random tak?) before or after this ride? Oops think it was before, and as we waited and sat there to noms, most passers-by were subjected to our hard judging hahahaha okay fine I confess, I was the one doing most of the (unfair) judging and also made (possibly undeserved) conclusion on the lives of others based solely on appearance while my companion secretly tsk-ed in disapproval and judged my unwholesome character in return. GAWD WHAT SENTENCE IS THAT EVEN so wishy washy and twisty twasty.

Photobucket

NEXTTTTTTTTTT! Pirate Ship! *gulps
Oh wait, and the Haunted House thing before, which was so cheap and tacky they wouldn't even spare a couple bucks to at least hire some real dude to chase people around. Seriously?

Photobucket

Uh-huh, live in action. Dude next door judging me hard for my lack of guts.
Notice how everyone else is like: "Omg wind in hair I'm so fabulous and delightfully full of life"  and then there's me hanging on to dear sweet life. Opted for the er middle seat of the Ship so that I wouldn't go so high up wtf and my good friend here decided to have some fun with my camera, chuckling and enjoying herself while the Ship swung around back and forth and I too, dieded back and forth. MY HEART PEOPLE, MY DEAR DEAR HEART. I don't even.

Photobucket

This calls for an ice-cream break.
See how easily bribed contented I am.

Photobucket

That was while queuing up for the boat ride around Dinosaur land!
Though it was more like Dinosaur Island, with a moat surrounding it for the boat ride and dinosaurs, rocks and plants in the middle. It's a bit high up so the view's pretty great. Bet YK got tired at one point after a gazillionth time of my expressing how pretty damn fucking amazing the weather is, only that she was too polite to tell me to STFU so (^_-)Wow first cuss word since I started this post, aren't you so proud of me? *beams

Photobucket

View from the top.
That's the Corkscrew (betul tak?) ride at the distance, yes the one with 360degrees loops with blue red railings. For the record, I would never go on it, not ever. We clear on that? Then there's the Go-Kart track and you know what, before this picture was taken the mist was so thick we couldn't even clearly see that roller coaster railing, and the bumbung biru kat kanan tuh ngan area parking kat bawah tuh was barely visible, all covered with this mystical mist that comes and disappears just like that. YES I AM SO IN AWE. (*゚.゚) Witnessing and hearing of things like this, I would sometime think that this Earth is such a remarkably exquisite place that God has created for us and I'm so grateful to be living and breathing in this ahem Beautiful World (coincedently A
rashi's new album title well what do you know (^_-)). Moving on (also an Arashi song, by the way).

Photobucket

Am surprised at how awesome this picture is (ok not really no),
because in reality it's quite dilapidated and so obviously human-made with plastic and whatnots.

Photobucket

Boat ride (that fits up to twelve people) starts!
and might I add that Cross Process is the best photo-editing effect ever!
It gives such warmth to the hair and skintone, little blemishes too just disappear under that glow

Photobucket

Boat pathway around the Dinosaur Island.
Lots of koi fish under the murky waters that visitors can feed with food pellet sold at the stands.

Photobucket

Elephants, with saggy bits of torn rumpled plastic for stomach.
No kidding, apparently nobody bothered to fix it. Poor thing *pats

Photobucket

Philosoraptor?  「(゚ペ  )

Sorry, couldn't stop at two examples. Boy do I love internet people!

Photobucket

Meanwhile, the view on the right is of the rest of the theme park.
FERRIS WHEEL!!
(* o * )

Photobucket

Then suddenly, there was a gate in front of us that opened,
leading in to some warehouse-looking space inside.

Photobucket

It was all dark as the narrator educated us on the history of dinosaurs (should be lah, didn't listen as was busy taking pictures WITH FLASH. Teehee.) Then there was lighting and dinosaur-noises and they introduced and highlighted each dinosaur with their eating habits, complete with moving models of the species. Like this blue one here, moving it's head about which was kinda fucking creepy as I was seated in front right next to it. Kept seeing visions of it opening it's mouth and coming at me wtf but had to keep cool cannot freak out, as there were people around wtf nice picture though kan? Padahal in real life cannot really see nor hear anything, it felt unkempt and rather neglected. Sigh it could've been really great with the right execution and effort (also known as, more budget please!).

Photobucket

Nothing to do so take picture of the exit door.
Note how eerily the water glows in green. Like a horror movie waiting to happen.

Photobucket

☆--:*:--☆ Walls Strawberries & Cream FERRIS WHEEEEEEEL!! ☆--:*:--☆

Photobucket

So pretty, and so incredibly nice to ride in (something here sounds wrong hmm)
The kind lady who was in charge (whoots good service for the day!) was so nice to us and let us enjoyed the ride for three rounds, and even offered a fourth round but we YK said we should give chance to others.

Photobucket

It was such a refreshing ride and so pleasant,
taking a break to go around up and down, chit chatting while slowly breathing in the cool air and enjoying the view of (almost) the entire outdoor theme park. Lookity look, more mist and Arashi colourful buildings! I know right, I am so mesmerized by the agreeable weather and the mist, it felt so good and so incredibly comfortable I hereby declare this my favourite of the entire theme park

Photobucket

Our faithful companion, Mr Pringles.
After the ferris wheel, we walked around indoor looking for this other ride but somehow ended up with us having KFC hahahaha and a 4D Motion Master (I might have just made this up, zero memory on what it was actually called wtf) treat after that. That one's like, 3D animation playing while the seat moves around accordingly and like got air blowing from below and crabs climbing up our legs that kind of simulation. Pretty interesting experience, I'd say! (^∇^)

When we finally found the ride we wanted to take earlier, Flying Dragon or something, it was already too late because we wanted to watch the Motion Master thing (again, unconfirmed name) and it was already evening then. Sigh so many rides were closed up too, for maintenance and for like, major renovation. Didn't want to go back at night, so we left in the evening.

Photobucket

Not before scoring a balloon-teddy from a clown!
A couple days after it shrunk beyond believe, like it was never blown into teddy before and the little employee name tag drawn by YK lagilah kecil comelnya hahahaha! and here comes the best parts of the trip, in my humble opinion - unexpected surprises!

Photobucket

A FOGGY ATMOSPHERE!
Oh it was perfectly delightful, didn't have to turn on the aircon at all. Just roll the windows down with the hands out and soak in all the mystical chilly air It was like being transported into another land, a wonderland where sinister secrets hid in the very shadowy air we breathe. mmmm. Though I'm sure it made it quite hard to drive though, having to concentrate so much more to see where we're going. But as a passenger, it was just so nice. I couldn't have love it any more!

So I was just getting comfortable, comforter and pillow in arms revelling in the perfect temperature when we zoomed past some blurry sunflowers and I was like, "wait wait wait! are those sunflowers?"  YK's eyes completely lit up hahahaha and quickly stopped by the roadside, asking me if they're real and of course, I had no idea. So we gostan  all the way to the junctions and turned in. TO FIND AN ABSOLUTE HEAVEN OF THIS:

Photobucket

Photobucket

Photobucket

SUNFLOWERS.
ROWS AND FRIGGIN' ROWS OF FRIGGIN' SUNFLOWERS!

Photobucket

Photobucket

So much joy and sunshine! (*≧▽≦)
We got SUPER EXCITED and started climbing here and there taking pictures and calling out every few seconds "eh look at this one!" or "omg so pretty this one" or "eh eh see this!" or "holyma this one!"

Photobucket

Photobucket

I don't think I've been in quite such high spirits in a while. Discovering something as amazing as this, it just made my entire day week fortnight month year! SO FRIGGIN' HAPPY UNTIL CANNOT EXPLAIN!

Photobucket

Turns out, it was some hydroponic farm thing. So pretty and cheery, no?
They were even selling cherry tomatoes, lettuce, sweet potatoes and such but it was quite pricey. No surprises there.  We soon got over it, and continues on our journey. Not without more continuous raving about our amazing luck in finding them sunflowers!

Hahahaha and armed with a comforter and a pillow in my arms, aided by the best of weather, I soon fell dead asleep on the way down hill. So asleep that when it started raining with the windows open and YK had to close the windows WHILE driving (coz the window on the passenger's side have to tarik up dengan tangan sometimes) down hill with the road all slippery, I continued sleeping through it all wtf when I opened my eyes, we were already in Ampang for Korean food hahahaha so sorry! A moving vehicle is my biggest weakness! (*^-^*)

Photobucket

Korean barbeque, whoots! First time ever trying Korean food!

Photobucket

Muka bohdoh baru bangun tidur.

Photobucket

Ok sila tarik balik statement sebelum nih, no more muka bohdoh.

Photobucket

Comes with platefuls and platefuls of side dishes!
About seven or eight, I believe? There's the regular kimmchi that I didn't tried because YK said it wasn't that great today, and then there's the anchovies with peanuts coated all sticky and sweet, the boiled taugeh  with shredded carrots, green leafy vege with sesame seed and also tofu and konnyaku-like stuff covered with kimmchi spicy sauce? So banyak kan?  Even comes with a plate of fresh green lettuce, tomatoes, cucumber, garlic and chilli.

Photobucket

MEAT AND MUSHROOOOOOOMS! MAJOR LOVE!

Photobucket

Look at them glorious glorious meat.

Photobucket

And fat melting off like cheese. Mmmm.
Came with sesame oil with salt and some bean paste for dip. So yummy! We also ordered a bowl of kimmchi soup and rice for the both of us. Obviously couldn't finish it all, don't judge mehhhh Q__________Q Had to tapao  most of the meat back sigh if got one more person, then it'd be perfect! But such a fulfilling meal! Such a fulfilling DAY! What an adventure! (*^▽^)

Gawd longest post ever, or longest post ever?
Tell me though, are the pictures too horrifyingly large?
